About

The Elliott School community includes experts, educators, diplomats, members of Congress, international leaders, Fortune 500 executives, and so many others who proudly call GW home. We would not be who we are today without people like you coming together to create the programs, research, resources, and innovations that define GW.

As the international landscape rapidly changes, the need to invest in the next generation of global leaders has only grown more urgent. One of those emerging leaders, International Women of Elliott Fellowship Recipient Olivia Leonard, MA ’27, said:

“This fellowship provides the resources and space for me to fully commit myself to the field by undertaking meaningful work advancing women’s wellbeing and leadership at both the domestic and international levels.”

Join us today by making a gift to one of the Elliott School priorities below, or another Elliott School fund, to help ensure our students and faculty have the resources they need to tackle tomorrow’s global challenges:

  • The Elliott School Dean's Fund is a critical resource dedicated to enhancing the entire School experience such as funding field research, travel to present at conferences, the Dean's Scholars program, the graduate global capstone program, and other important programs and initiatives.
  • The International Women of Elliott champions Elliott students focused on women's leadership to ensure those who choose to lead have the resources and tools to do so.
  • The Elliott Student Opportunities Fund increases access to the transformative power of a GW Elliott education by providing scholarships and grants to top students with scarce financial resources.
  • The ESIA Student Support Fund (Scholarships) directly supports undergraduate students with scholarships to lower financial barriers to an Elliott School education.
  • Elliott School Graduate Fellowships help open the door for prospective graduate students to pursue a Master’s degree at the Elliott School by providing tuition support.
  • The Michael E. Brown Research Fund, named in honor of former Dean Brown, offers support to Elliott School faculty to incubate new ideas, respond to a just-in-time opportunity, or continue long-term projects.
